Privacy & Security

• No telemetry by default. Zume Editor does not send your files or usage data anywhere unless you explicitly opt in.
• Your data stays local. Files, settings, recent lists and sessions are stored on your own machine.
• Credentials are protected. SSH, SFTP/FTP, database and cloud passwords are kept in your operating system's secure credential store (Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain, Linux Secret Service) - never in plain settings files.
• License checks contact only our activation server, and only to validate your license. See Activation & Licensing.
